France announce unchanged team for Ireland
France have named an unchanged 22-man squad for Saturday’s Six Nations game with Ireland but will not name their starting XV until Wednesday.
Jean-Baptiste Elissalde is included, despite having suffered an ankle injury in the opening game win over Scotland.
“We saw no reason to make changes. That does not mean the same 15 players will start,” said a team spokesman.
Centre Yannick Jauzion has returned to club action after injury but is not yet thought fit for international duty.
Coach Marc Lievremont said he was more than happy with Sunday’s 27-6 win over the Scots at Murrayfield.
“I’m satisfied with the team’s performance, even more since I watched the video of the match,” Lievremont said.
