Keith Wood: ‘Yeah, i’ve got no hair… So what!’
On this day in 1972, Uncle Fester is born. No, not the Addams Family character but
the Irish rugby legend, Keith Wood. The inaugural winner of the IRB World Player of
the Year award in 2001, Wood holds the record for the most international tries by
a hooker with 15.
On this day way back in 98, Trajan became Roman Emperor. On this day in 1988, the
National Geographic Society was founded in Washington, D.C. In 1984, Michael Jackson
suffered second degree burns to his scalp, and in 1967, The Doors self titled debut
album was released.
