Bath seek to go top of Guinness Premiership after return of internationals

The remarkable resurgence enjoyed by Bath this season could lead them to rise
to the top of the Guinness Premiership if they secure a bonus-point victory
at home to London Irish this afternoon. Although they lost 22-16 away to
Harlequins last weekend, Gloucester, the league leaders, were also beaten,
so Bath have the opportunity to replace their West Country rivals at the top
of the table. With six games remaining, Bath have a game in hand on
Gloucester, who are not in action this weekend, and second-placed Leicester,
who play London Wasps in the semi-finals of the EDF Energy Cup this
afternoon.
